Due to changes in the way in which Highland Council present the information it takes some time for us to add in direct links to the individual application data.  However, the planning reference is presented and you can simply copy  this into a  Highland Council ePlanning simple search , or in the case of  Energy Consents Unit applications (S36, S37) using the ECU search facility )

How we get this data

We use the Advanced  search on the live  ePlanning system  for a number of different searches that have been 'saved'.  For example, one of our searches

Description keyword: wind

Ward: Wick & E area 

Application Type: Full Application

Status: under consideration

We also receive automated updates sent to us for each of these search criteria. 

Please note that we liaise with Highland Renewables Database where more detail, including maps and links to planning documents can usually be found.  For the moment their system is not being updated.  In consultation with them we have resurrected our simple list approach but expect to revert to directing people to Highland Renewables database in the future
